Custom software, built where you can reach us
Off-the-shelf tools cover most of a business, until the day your process stops fitting them: the spreadsheet only one person understands, the back office that does not talk to the website, the export someone repeats by hand every morning. That is where custom software pays for itself.
Tender Touch is a software development company in Lisbon, Portugal. We design, build and run web platforms, backends, CRMs and integrations for companies that cannot buy what they need off a shelf. The people you meet in the first call are the people who write the code.
A team abroad that keeps your hours
Lisbon is on the same clock as London and one hour behind Berlin, Paris and Madrid, and Portugal is in the EU, GDPR included. How we run projects for companies outside Portugal is on our nearshore in Portugal page.
We are not a staffing agency. You get a small senior team that takes responsibility for a piece of software end to end, from the first version to running it in production.
What we build
- Web platforms and marketplaces: bookings, payments, customer areas, search and catalogues with thousands of records.
- Back offices and CRMs: the tools your staff use every day, with roles, permissions and an audit trail of every action.
- Backends and APIs: one foundation for your website, your mobile app and third-party systems.
- Integrations: payment providers, partner feeds, phone systems (SIP, PBX), email and SMS.
- AI features inside the product: assistants that work on your live data, document reading, voice and AI integration with your other systems.
How a project runs
- Call and scope. We learn the problem, what already exists and what must work on day one. You tell us what matters; we tell you what is realistic.
- A first version in production, fast. We would rather put a small version in front of real users than spend months on documents. rent.moto.pt went from first commit to production in 9 days.
- Automated tests from the start. Every change goes through the test suite before it ships. That is what lets us publish a request the same day without breaking what already works.
- Operation after launch. Logs, alerts, backups and a staging environment separate from production are part of the project, not an extra.
Why it matters that we run our own products
We have two consumer products of our own in production in Portugal, rent.moto.pt and auto.moto.pt. When a booking fails at seven in the morning, it is our phone that rings. So we plan for the day after launch from the first sprint, because we have needed those tools ourselves.
It also means the stack we propose is the one we use every day: TypeScript, React, Svelte, Node.js and Bun, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, Kubernetes on our own servers.
Working with your in-house team
If you already have developers and need a team to own one part of the system, we can take a module, an integration or an app end to end. We work in your repository under your review rules, and we leave tests and documentation so your team can carry on without us.
Your data stays with you
By default we deploy on your servers or a private cloud of your choice. The code is yours. If you ever change supplier, you take everything with you: code, database and deployment notes.
